So how did this come about....
With the pandemic effecting everyone in the world and seeing so many of my colleagues displaced for work I found that I wanted to find a way to help. I have been collecting designer art toys for over a decade and I felt that I could, with loads of recycled jars I have in my home, put together something to sell online to help donate towards the Bartenders Relief fund.
All the toys I've bought over the years came in blind boxes. Which means for every collection there is a limited amount of each character and you never know which one you have bought until you pay and open the box. I have never been disappointed. I always bought one of these when I was celebrating or having a down day. They always brought me to a giggle. Now I want to share them along with my own creations to bring daily giggles to other peoples lives and hopefully put some money back into the hands of my unemployed colleagues.
My mind day dreams in wakes of sci-fi / fantasy nerd tendencies. I've been a giggling nerd my whole life, from watching animation since I was a kid, to reading random indie and mainstream comic books, and drawing fun dark weird characters on any piece of paper available. I absolutely believe the small things matter and especially since they make me laugh daily.
While I have been seeking out all sorts of outlets of creativity, I have also been bartending for the last 15 years of my life. Most artists have a "side" job. I find that bartending for me has always been an adventure; full of the best stories, conversations, invitations, and just giggles for days. I am so grateful to have spent my adult life learning from others across a bar. It also allowed me to live all over the USA: Miami, New York City, Detroit and now Los Angeles, California. It has been mostly a full time job for me until now.

Artist and other things...
It's part of my purpose
to giggle everyday.
But who am I ......
Artist. Actor. Filmmaker. Retired Bartender of 15 years. Fantastical alternate universe lover aka comic book geek. I am an alpha woman with childlike energy. My thought process will spiral you into oblivion.
I’m originally from Miami, Florida and of Colombian descent. I was raised in a multiracial household under the eye of an incredibly strong willed mother and two younger sisters.
My life's work has always been anchored in the arts. My childhood throughout college was focused on traditional art, illustration and graphic design. I wandered to New York City where I learned more about and worked in Costume Design. Then I was off to Detroit to study Filmmaking and Animation which funnily enough lead me to acting in theatre and film directing. This all has made me wonderfully awkward. Regardless of the trade, creating and giving space to create is my purpose. So I made my way to my current home in Los Angeles.
I highly enjoy learning new perspectives from the generous individuals that cross my path. Their stories only encourage me to continue to spread joy, compassion, and empathy through my work as an artist.
